Noting the lack of community for advanced contemporary/lyrical/modern dancers, Gigi Zades (‘23), Liliana Price (‘25), and Payton Thompson (‘25) founded Harvard Undergraduate Contemporary Collective in the fall of 2022. After HCC’s debut year guest performing at various dance shows across campus, they produced their first solo production Breaking Ground in December of 2023.
